		<description><![CDATA[Ben&#8217;s radio play, &#8216;In the Red&#8217; has been shortlisted for the BBC&#8217;s In the Red Rapid Response Competition.
The final 11 dramas were shortlisted from over 100 entries. The plays were short rapid response pieces to the announcement of the Coalition Government&#8217;s comprehensive spending review.

		<description><![CDATA[Ben&#8217;s short story &#8216;Berlin&#8217; has been shortlisted for the 2010 Bridport Prize, Britain&#8217;s most prestigious short fiction award.
The award, established in 1973, received over 6,000 entries in 2010. Previous shortlisted and winning authors have included writers such as Helen Dunmore and Kate Atkinson.
The winning 13 stories will be announced on 31 October 2010.
